December Winter Storm Impacts the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic

Heavy, accumulating snow continues to fall in western and northern North Carolina to southwest and southern Virginia. Wintry precipitation and some ice accretion is expected from northeast Georgia into central North Carolina, including Charlotte and Raleigh metro areas.
