Accumulations of a trace to 2 inches are possible, mainly north and west of Norfolk. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Wednesday A significant winter storm is possible Friday and Saturday, with peak intensity expected Saturday afternoon and evening. This system should bring additional snow accumulations and will be accompanied by very strong winds. Locally heavy snow accumulations are possible as well as a couple hours of blizzard or near blizzard conditions. Peak wind gusts in the 40 to 55 mph range are possible. Anyone with weekend plans should monitor this system closely.
