...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DOWNWARD TRENDS IN BOTH RAIN CHANCES AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY EXPECTED
THROUGH TUESDAY AS RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE SLIDES IN FROM THE
PACIFIC. TEMPERATURES WILL INCREASE TO NEAR NORMAL FOR JULY UNDER
RIDGING MONDAY AND REMAIN THERE THROUGH THE WEEK. BY MID WEEK,
MOISTURE WILL ONCE AGAIN PUSH ACROSS THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN WHICH
WILL LEAD TO INCREASING TRENDS IN BOTH AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM
CHANCES AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY. WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE WELL-BELOW
CRITICAL SPEEDS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER THE HIGHER
MOUNTAINS EACH AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY. OTHERWISE, ONSHORE FLOW AND
THE MARINE LAYER WILL CONTINUE SEASONAL SUMMER HUMIDITY AND
TEMPERATURES. MONSOONAL MOISTURE INCREASES MIDWEEK, POSSIBLY
BRINGING A PERIOD OF INCREASED COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AND SLIGHT COOLING. DRYING AGAIN AFTER MIDWEEK, WITH
WARMER AND DRIER CONDITIONS POSSIBLE NEXT WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

MOIST EASTERLY FLOW AROUND A LARGE UPPER HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL
PREVAIL THROUGH TUESDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN ISOLATED TO SCATTERED
MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT
STORM COVERAGE WILL BE OVER SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA, ESPECIALLY
HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS EAST OF PHOENIX. MEANWHILE, BELOW NORMAL HIGH
TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED, THOUGH IT WILL BE HOTTER OVER THE
DESERTS WEST OF PHOENIX. EXPECT WINDS TO BE ON THE LIGHT SIDE BOTH
DAYS FAVORING SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST DIRECTIONS DURING AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS.
