New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A front will remain stationary
well S of the waters today into Mon as low pressure centers track
NE along the boundary. A stronger low will form along the front
to the SE and E of the area Mon, and move N toward the Canadian
Maritimes Mon night into Tue. High pressure will persist to the N
of the region today into Mon, settle S into the N waters Mon
night into Tue, and then weaken and shift E of the area Tue
night. A possible tropical or sub-tropical cyclone will approach
the waters from the S later Tue into Wed night, and then move NE
over Georges Bank Thu, passing E of the area Thu night as a cold
front moves E over the waters.
