RIP CURRENT RISK TODAY: HIGH
Long period swells will produce a high risk of dangerous rip
currents at area beaches today. Greatest risk of rip currents will
be through this morning and again late this afternoon into the
evening hours due to tidal effects.

When arriving at the beach, check with ocean rescue personnel on
the latest surf conditions. Always swim near a lifeguard and
never swim alone. If caught in a rip current, swim in a direction
following the shoreline until the current weakens, then swim back
towards shore.

OUTLOOK FOR...SATURDAY...Partly sunny. A slight chance of afternoon
showers. Highs in the mid 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance
of rain 20 percent.
