Temperatures remained cold across the Natural State this Tuesday 
afternoon in the wake of the winter storm that moved through the 
region Monday night. Highs only warmed into the upper single digits 
to low teens across the north...to the upper teens to mid 20s 
elsewhere...even with a mostly sunny sky.

Late this evening...a mostly clear sky continued...with a light 
north breeze continuing. Temperatures late this evening have cooled 
off into the single digits across the north and northeast...to the 
teens elsewhere. Expect very cold temperatures overnight as high 
pressure settles across the region. Lows by Wednesday morning will 
drop below zero across northern Arkansas...to the single digits and 
teens further south. 

Slightly warmer conditions will be seen for Wednesday afternoon. 
Highs will still only warm into the 20s and 30s...under a mostly 
sunny sky. Dry weather will continue through at least Friday...with 
a gradual warming trend expected into the weekend. Highs will warm 
into the 50s and 60s by this weekend. Rain chances also return for 
the weekend...though best chances for seeing rainfall will be on 
Sunday.
