This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon...with 
some gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall the primary threats 
expected with the strongest storms. 

Heat index values will warm to near or just over 105 degrees
across southern sections of the area this afternoon. Take 
frequent breaks if working outside...especially during the 
hottest part of the day. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday Through Friday

Afternoon heat index values of 100 to 105 will be possible over 
central and southern Arkansas Sunday through Tuesday. Take 
frequent breaks if working outside...especially during the 
hottest part of the day. 

Scattered...mainly afternoon and early evening thunderstorms 
will be possible into early next week...with better rain chances 
Tuesday and Wednesday as a cold front moves into the region. At 
this time...the threat for severe thunderstorms is low.
However...isolated thunderstorms could become strong...with gusty
winds and heavy rainfall the primary concerns.
