This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north Alabama and portions of
southern middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected today, as a cold 
front moves across the region. Locally heavy rainfall with the 
stronger storms could produce localized flooding. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Isolated thunderstorms return to the forecast on Thursday, as the 
front south of the region returns northward as a warm front. Somewhat
higher rain chances are expected on Friday and during the upcoming 
weekend as a stronger upper-level storm system moves across the 
Appalachians. A cold front is forecast to move across the area on
Saturday, with thunderstorm activity ending by Sunday. 


Activation of storm spotters and emergency management personnel is 
not anticipated at this time.
