Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Southeast Texas
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
738 AM CDT Sat Aug 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Slightly higher moisture levels along and south of I-10 could lead
to isolated showers and a stray thunderstorm later this afternoon.
However, most locations will remain rain-free for the next day or
so. Though unrelated to local fire activity, there is a possibility
for light amounts of smoke from Western and Canadian fires to drift
across the Southeast Texas skies at very high elevation over the
next few days. This may add a bit of a haze to our skies, but that
is likely to be the greatest extent of its impact for our area.
