This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South
Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at the beaches of South
Padre Island and at Boca Chica Beach due to swells from the east-
southeast.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Alberto will move northward through the central and eastern Gulf
of Mexico through early next week. Depending on strength of
the system, an increase in long period swells may impact the lower
Texas coast late this weekend into early next week. An elevated
risk of rip currents is possible at the beaches of South Padre
Island and at Boca Chica Beach Saturday through early next week.

The combination of increase swells and high predicted tides may
produce some tidal run up on area beaches.

Heat index values of 105 to 109 degrees will be possible Saturday
through Memorial Day.
